Brooke Lykins believes that community based organizations are essential to galvanizing the empathy, learning, and action our society needs to create a better future.  She has dedicated her career to growing those organizations through the support and development of fellow leaders, the establishment of equity-based systems and processes, and the translation of vision and strategy to resources and action.  Starting with the idea that everyone has a place in the work to make the world more just, Brooke seeks to build nonprofits that give people the opportunity to offer their gifts in a way that is impactful, rewarding, and sustainable.

Brooke has led fundraising, volunteer, communications, advocacy, and partnership development initiatives for an array of causes over the course of her 20-year career.  She specializes in entrepreneurial organizations that are experiencing dramatic growth or are in transition, and her approach integrates holistic relationship management with organizational development strategies.  Brooke has worked on several significant capital campaigns, she is an expert on the topic of service enterprises, and she particularly enjoys thinking through long-term sustainability questions related to new program development.  She has experience facilitating board engagement, working with major donors, securing private foundation investments, creating program plans and case statements for expansion, and organizing events.
